Middle School /

Time for Giving Thanks

Last Friday our school held a Thanksgiving celebration that included performances prepared by all grades, beautiful speeches given by teachers and students’ parents, and a generous dinner shared by all the guests.

Students of the Middle school recited poems about the things they are grateful for. Some of the things that were mentioned are family, school, old and new friends, health and home. After that, the students presented musical performances, carefully prepared during the music classes. All al the performers charmed the audience by their joyful spirit and inspiration.

After that, the glorious dinner with a plenty of various dishes was served. Everyone could enjoy dishes of both, traditional American and Chinese cuisines, such as roasted turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, rice with vegetables, pork and beef, fish and shrimps cooked with special Chinese seasonings. It was a great opportunity to share cultural experience and traditions and have a wonderful meal.

Thanksgiving Day is the best time to demonstrate one's gratitude. What are you thankful for?
