What students have learnt this March
This March in Social Studies we have explored many topics. The ninth graders analyzed the underlying causes of World War I and how the effects of that war can still be felt today. The students also got to experience firsthand what it must have felt like to fight in the trenches of World War I. Tenth graders have examined the history of Africa, Europe, The Middle East, and Asia throughout the Middle Ages. The eleventh and twelfth graders completed a unit about the history and culture of Europe and completed a virtual “European Tour” to visit some of the famous landmarks found throughout that continent. March was an exciting month to be in Social Studies class and we have set the stage for even more fun and exploration for the rest of spring!
