Earth Day at Shuren

On Friday, April 19th Shuren celebrated Earth Day. The high school was in charge of creating an obstacle course! The goal was to get the students outside and active. The course was divided into 7 different "obstacles". The different "obstacles" were a tire run, jump rope, tunnel crawl, hopscotch, wooden tightrope, somersault, and a ball and cone drill. First the high school students went through the safety and rules, followed by a demonstration. After that, the primary kids were organized and started their run through the obstacle course. It was great to see their excitement and pleasure of running through the course. It is clear to say everyone had a great time getting out and doing some exercise!
