Shuren’s High School students are benefiting from hands-on, active learning in their classes. This week, their research on Ancient Egyptian gods had them preparing papyrus paper and painting pictures of their Gods. This was followed by individual presentations to the class about their research.
In ESL students spent time sequencing stories by putting the parts in the correct order to build their English reading skills and their logical thinking skills.
Our High School student’s creativity was also very evident in ESL this week. Students prepared an English Halloween song to sing for the kindergarten students and organized games to play with them. Their costumes were both fun and scary! A lot of fun was had by all!
