Due to the educational background and English language level of our incoming students, the American School presents multiple-year plans to parents and prospective students:

3+2 Three years at The American School, two years in an American high school. Students are classified as ESL freshmen when they begin at The American School and as Juniors when they arrive in the United States.

2+2 Two years at The American School, two years in an American high school. Students are classified as Freshmen when they begin at The American School and as Juniors when they arrive in the United States. Students who initially select this plan are re-evaluated each semester and may be changed to a 3+2 or 3+1 plan.
2+2 在我校美国高中学习两年，在美国本土高中学习两年。入学时进入我校美国高中一年级，两年后赴美进入美国学校的高中三年级。对选择此学习计划的学生，每学期要进行学习评估，视评估结果可转为 3+2 或 3+1 学习计划。

3+1 Three years at The American School, one year in an American high school. Students are classified as freshmen when they begin at The American School and as Seniors when they arrive in the United States.
3+1 在我校美国高中学习三年，在美国本土高中学习一年。入学进入我校的美国高中一年级或 ESL 二年级，三年后赴美进入美国的高中四年级。

3+S+1 Three years at The American School, one year in an American high school. Students are classified as ESL sophomores when they begin at The American School，attend one Summer School session, and are designated as Seniors when they arrive in the United States. Students designated as ESL Freshmen when they begin may switch to this plan after an excellent first year academically.
3+S+1 在我校美国高中学习三年，在美国本土高中学习一年。入学时进入 ESL 二年级，在我校美国高中完成三年学习并连续参加在此期间的英语夏令营语言强化后，赴美进入美国的高中四年级。 ESL 一年级的学生经过一年的学习如果成绩优秀，可执行本教学计划。

2+1 Two years at The American School, one year in an American high school. Students are classified as Sophomores when they begin at The American School and as Seniors whey they arrive in the United States. Only students who have transcripts indicating they have already earned one full year of high school credits in a Western educational setting can qualify for this plan.
2+1 在我校美国高中学习两年，在美国本土高中学习一年。入学进入我校美国高中二年级，两年后赴美进入美国的高中四年级。只有能提供在英语国家学校拿到一年学分成绩单的学生才有资格执行本教学计划。

1+1 Students who have transcript indicating they have already earned two full years of high school credits in a Western educational setting can qualify for designation as Juniors with this plan.
1+1 能提供在英语国家学校拿到两年学分成绩单的学生可以插入我校美国高中三年级并执行本教学计划。

注：学习 ESL 课程仍然可以拿到相当于高中课程一半的学分
