Have you ever wondered why Mr. Garcia’s muscles are so big?
Because he eats his protein! Today, Mr. Garcia is going to show you how to make “All American Sliders”! A slider is an American word, it just means small hamburger!
Let’s get started!
This recipe makes 8 sliders.
2 pounds (1k) of ground beef
2 large eggs
½ cup of fine dried breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon of salt
½ teaspoon of pepper
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
8 small hamburger bun or rolls
iceberg lettuce leaves
In a bowl, mix all of the ground beef, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon of salt, ½ teaspoon of pepper, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder and ½ cup of breadcrumbs.
(pro tip: if you don’t have breadcrumbs you can use your hands to grind up a slice of bread as a substitute)
add garlic powder
If you choose to mix the ingredients with your hands, make sure you wash them for at least 15 seconds!
Make 8 golf ball sized balls of meat.
Then flatten the balls into patties.
The patties should be about the size of the palm of your hand.
Lay patties on the grill or a lightly oiled pan over low heat. Cook the patty, turning once, until browned on both sides and no longer pink inside (you can cut to test), around 7 – 8 minutes total. Then remove from grill or pan.

Make sure the patties are flat!
Spread butter on the buns, then place them on the grill or pan until light brown.
You can also toast them if you have a toaster oven!
Add cheese, vegetables and sauces to your liking!
