5A:Grow up in Learning New Knowledge
This week students in class 5A used their own knowledge of vocabulary word to broaden the concept of compound word. The students were excited to combine words together to create new words. When we combine two or more words together to form a new word we call it a compound word.
The students took turns to test their creativity by taking compound words apart and creating new ones of their own. Students came up with some really interesting word combinations. The students managed to use some vocabulary skills and interacted with their peers in a safe and encouraging learning environment.
