 Opposite Day

Yesterday the International Primary had fun with “Opposite Day”. Students could say “good bye” instead of “hello”, go “right” instead of going “left”, and up line instead of lining up. It turned out to be so much fun!

Some students even took the initiative to dress in the opposite. They had different shoes, clothes the wrong way around, and wore their jackets inside out.

Teachers used the opportunity to teach students about antonyms (opposites). Each class played some fun games to practice these skills. Students had lots of fun looking for their matching friends with matching words, unscrambling sentences, and going on scavenger hunts in the classroom.

We look forward to the next “Opposite Day”!
