   尊敬的老师，亲爱的同学们：

   大家上午好!我们是来自11年级的同学，今天我国旗下演讲的题目是《不忘初心，牢记使命》。

   今年的7月1日是建党102周年。一百年前，当饥寒交迫的中国人民在黑暗的中华大地上苦苦地寻求着“生”路之时，在嘉兴南湖的那条红船上，诞生了伟大的中国共产党，从此，他们在自己高扬的旗帜上刻上了为人民谋幸福的初心和为民族谋复兴的使命。

   Dear teachers and classmates:

   Good morning everyone! We are from the grade 11. Today’s topic is " remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind".

July 1st this year marks the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. One hundred years ago, when the starving and poor Chinese people were struggling to find the way to "live" in the dark land of China, the great Communist Party of China（CPC）was born on the red boat in the South Lake of Jiaxing. Since then, they have carved their original intention of seeking happiness for the people and the mission of seeking national rejuvenation  on their high banner.

   一百年来，中国共产党人无论身处何种险境，都没有放弃“人民”这颗伟大的初心。井冈山是中国革命的摇篮，在这里孕育了伟大的井冈山精神。井冈山是革命最艰难的时候创建的第一个农村革命根据地，在井冈山上，中国共产党始终坚持扎根于民、服务于民、依靠于民的宗旨；始终坚持与井冈山人民一起过“红米饭、南瓜汤，挖野菜、也当粮”的日子，赢得了广大人民群众的支持和拥护。在井冈山上形成的军民鱼水之情，见证了中国共产党人始终坚守使命、担当使命的决心。

   In the past 100 years, no matter what kind of danger the the party’s people are in, they have never given up the great original intention of "the people". Jing gang shan is the cradle of the Chinese revolution, where the great Jing gang shan spirit was nurtured. Jing gang shan is the first rural revolutionary base created in the most difficult revolution time. On Jing gang shan, the Party has always adhered to the purpose of taking root in the people, serving the people, and relying on the people; The Party has always insisted on living a life of " eating red rice, pumpkin soup, and digging wild vegetables as food" with the people of Jing gang shan, which has won the support of the broad masses of the people. The love between the army and the people in Jing gang shan has witnessed the determination of the Party to stick to its mission.

   新中国成立后，我们党深知“为国者，得民则治，失民则乱”的道理。为了能够始终坚守初心如磐、使命在肩，我们党以巨大的政治勇气推进了伟大的自我革新。中国共产党人自我反思、自我超越、自我革新的精神，孕育在南湖起航的那条红船上，形成于当年毛泽东主席与黄炎培先生的那段著名的“延安窑洞对话”里，并不断弘扬在整个社会主义建设、改革和推进中国特色社会主义新时代的进程中。

   After the establishment of the People's Republic of China, our party deeply understood the principle of " Those who govern the country can govern well if they gain the people’s support, otherwise they will encounter difficulties.". In order to always adhere to our original aspiration and mission, our party has advanced great self innovation with great political courage. The spirit of self reflection, self transcendence and self innovation of the CPC was nurtured on the red boat that set sail in the South Lake, formed in the famous "Yan'an Cave Dialogue" between Chairman Mao Zedong and Mr. Huang Yanpei, and constantly carried forward in the process of socialist construction, reform and the promotion of a new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics.

   习近平总书记指出：“我们党是否坚强有力，既要看全党在理想信念上是否坚定不移，更要看每一位党员在理想信念上是否坚定不移。”回顾过去，革命理想高于天，初心使命始终是中国共产党人不断前行的强大动力。展望未来，只有不忘初心、牢记使命，才能永远保持建党时中国共产党人的奋斗精神，激励共产党人为中华民族伟大复兴奋斗不息。

   President Xi JinPing pointed out that "whether our Party is strong and powerful depends not only on whether the whole Party is firm in ideals and beliefs, but also on whether every member of the Party is firm in ideals and beliefs." In retrospect, the revolutionary ideal is higher than the sky, and the original mission has always been a strong driving force for the CPC to continue to move forward. Looking forward to the future, only by not forgetting the original intention and keeping in mind the mission, can we always maintain the spirit of struggle of the CPC when the Party was founded, and encourage the Communist Party to strive for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

   作为青少年的我们，正处在人生的重要阶段。时光飞逝，转眼间，本学期即将结束，在即将到来的期末考试中，你是否能达到自己预期的目标？直至今日，你是否还保留着新学期伊始的学习热情和自己的初心呢？

   每一次考试，都会经受失败的痛苦或是成功的洗礼。当你陷入学习困境，不慎失分之时，请你不能因此失去自己的梦想，陷入迷惘彷徨中举步不前；当你拼搏努力取得了可喜的成绩之时，也不要因此骄傲自满，甚至偏离自己的初衷。

   As teenagers, we are at an important stage in our lives. Time flies, and in the blink of an eye, this semester is coming to an end. Can you achieve your expected goals in the upcoming final exam? Until today, have you still retained the learning enthusiasm and original intention at the beginning of this new semester?

Every time we take an exam, we experience the pain of failure or the baptism of success. When you are in a learning dilemma and accidentally lose points, please do not lose your dreams or hesitate in confusion; When you have achieved gratifying results through hard work, do not become complacent or even deviate from your original intention.

   同学们，初心，是我们前进道路上的指南针，是我们前行的动力源泉。人的一生中，或艳阳高照，晴空万里，或雷电交加，大雨滂沱，我们在人生的路上风雨兼程，遗忘了初心就会失去方向，没有方向的人生无论多么努力，都不会获得成功。但只要你坚持自己的初心，并为之不懈努力，最终将收获胜利的果实。

   Dear fellow classmates, the original intention is the compass on our way forward and the source of motivation for us to move forward. In a person's life, either the sun is shining brightly, the sky is clear for thousands of miles, or the thunder and lightning are mixed, and the rain is heavy. On the road of life, we go through both wind and rain. If we forget our original intention, we will lose our direction. No matter how hard we work, we will not achieve success. But as long as you persist in your original intention and work tirelessly for it, you will ultimately reap the fruits of victory.
