树人学校 | 升旗仪式

   尊敬的同学们,老师们,大家早上好。今天,我很荣幸欢迎大家参加升旗仪式。
当我们升起学校和国家的旗帜时,它们代表着理想和价值观。一个在我们这个时代越来越重要的价值观就是可持续发展。
可持续发展意味着满足当代人的需求,而不损害后代人满足他们自己需求的能力。作为学校团体,我们有责任在学校运营、课程设置和日常行为中践行可持续发展。
看似微小的行为,如关灯、减少食物浪费和重复使用材料,将会在我们的学生心中培养建设可持续未来所需的思维方式。关于可再生能源、环境科学和社会公平的课程将为学生提供创新解决方案所需的知识。
    然而,可持续发展不仅仅是环境管理。它也关乎强大的社区和全球公民精神。当我们教导学生关爱我们的星球,关爱彼此时,我们给他们一份创造更美好世界所需的指南针。
虽然我们来自不同的国家,但我们共享这个我们称之为地球的共同家园。今天在升旗仪式上,让我们以自己的背景为傲,并致力于我们共同的未来。我们的未来取决于此。

   Esteemed students, faculty, and distinguished guests, good morning. Today, I are honoured to welcome you all to the flag raising ceremony.

As we raise the flags of our school and our nation, they represent ideals and values. One value that is increasingly important in our times is sustainability.

Sustainability means meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. As a school community, we are responsible for modelling sustainability in our school operations, curriculum settings and daily behaviours.

Seemingly small acts like turning off lights, reducing food waste, and reusing materials will instil in our students the mindset needed to build a sustainable future. Lessons on renewable energy, environmental science and social equity will give students the knowledge needed to innovate solutions.

   However, sustainability is not just environmental stewardship. It is also about strong communities and global citizenship. When we teach our students to care for our planet and care for each other, we give them the compass they need to create a better world.

Although we come from different nations, we share this common home we call Earth. Today at the flag raising ceremony, let us take pride in where we come from and commit to where we are going together. Our future depends on it.

   树人U8棒球校队的同学们参加了北京市体育局、北京市体育总会联合举办的猛虎杯棒球秋季比赛。赛前他们每周有六天共计14次的训练，每一次训练都付出了非常多的汗水，在这样高强度的训练下他们依旧坚持了下来。在赛场上他们认真对待每一场比赛，即便面对比他们强的对手，他们也通过顽强的毅力和团队的配合取得了胜利。此次比赛北京队共计一百九十多支队伍，树人学校U8的同学们在本次比赛中获得了北京市第三名的好成绩。

   值得表彰的不仅仅是U8的同学获得了季军，更值得表扬和鼓励的是每一名棒球队员对于棒球的热爱，对于棒球的尊重。淋漓尽致地展现出来的是棒球精神，是体育精神。
